Location is locked after I ran a simulation

Symptoms:

• Set/Change Project Location is disabled,
• UI message indicates location is locked.

Why:

• Existing simulation results lock location to preserve consistency.

Fix:

1. Use Reset project to clear scenario state and results.
2. Set location again.
3. Rebuild ignitions/fuel breaks and rerun.

Weather lookup fails

Symptoms:

• Weather lookup returns an error,
• no weather values update.

Common causes:

• invalid query text,
• non-US/unsupported coordinates,
• upstream weather/geocoding service failure.

Fix:

1. Retry with a clear US city/address/ZIP.
2. If needed, enter weather values manually.
3. Retry later if external services are temporarily unavailable.

Simulation run fails immediately

Symptoms:

• Error toast on run start,
• no replay output generated.

Common causes:

• missing ignition segment,
• invalid or incomplete run payload,
• backend/service failure.

Fix:

1. Confirm location is set.
2. Confirm at least one ignition exists.
3. Retry run.
4. If persistent, reset project and re-enter baseline inputs.

Replay is unavailable

Symptoms:

• replay controls disabled,
• message indicates no replay exists.

Why:

• no successful simulation replay has been saved yet.

Fix:

1. Run a successful simulation.
2. Wait for completion.
3. Reopen replay controls.

Authentication/session errors on protected pages

Symptoms:

• redirected to login,
• unauthorized responses from protected APIs.

Fix:

1. Sign in again.
2. Refresh dashboard/workspace.
3. Confirm you are opening your own project URL.

Project rename/save/reset action fails

Symptoms:

• action toast shows failure,
• project state does not update.

Fix:

1. Retry once.
2. Refresh and retry.
3. If still failing, copy current project ID/URL and report the issue.
