Use replay controls and overlays to understand fire progression and scenario outcomes.

Steps

1. Complete a successful simulation run.
2. Open replay controls.
3. Play/pause and scrub through timeline.
4. Observe burning/burned/unburned changes over time.
5. Cross-reference terrain overlays (fuel/slope/aspect).
6. Capture insights and rerun with targeted parameter changes.

What to examine

• ignition spread direction vs wind direction,
• fuel break impact zones,
• slope/aspect effects on propagation,
• early vs late-stage perimeter behavior.

Comparison pattern

1. Keep a baseline project run.
2. Duplicate scenario assumptions manually in a new run variant.
3. Change one major variable.
4. Compare replay outcomes.
